September 11

Seven years ago today changed my life forever.

Just 5 weeks before 9/11 my son joined the

United States Army as an infantry soldier

and would eventually deply to both Afghanistan and Iraq.

With politics aside I stand proud to be an American.

I remember the days following 9/11 and how the

country came together for each other.

My prayer is that those of us who live in the

United States will remember those days

and be kinder and gentler to others.
