The only time we suffer is when we believe a
thought that argues with what is.
Byron Katie
How often do you argue with what is?
How often do you say things should not be as they are?
I should be different.
He/she/they should be different.
Peace can never be achieved when you think this way.
It is a loosing battle 100% of the time.
Maybe it is time to question your thoughts.
To surrender to what is, instead of what is not.
I am here to help if you need me.

Wow, I really needed this today. I began the morning with a very old habit that has resurfaced the past day or two: looking in the mirror and criticizing/judging what I saw, saying things like, "I'm never going to lose all this weight," "I look horrible this morning", "There must be something wrong I'm doing to not be losing more weight," etc.
